**About the Opportunity**:
The Outcomes & Improvement Project Officer (O&I Officer) position is responsible for supporting the implementation Flourish Australia’s Outcomes & Improvement Framework (‘the Framework’) with a focus on service development and service improvement. The O&I Officer continuously reviews the approach to implement the framework and ensuring data collection and insights are well communicated to staff and people we support, as well as communication materials for funders.

The role will:

- Be responsible for communicating and building capacity across the organisation to better understand data entry, and how to gather and use data to highlight performance and outcomes.
- Work in collaboration with the Evaluation, Research and Service Development Coordinator, Data Analyst, General Managers, Regional Managers, and IT Department.
- Include preparing key programme performance and funder reports as well as implementation of new programs and initiatives into the databases to align with the organisational requirements to support evidence-based decision making.

**Selection Criteria**:
**_ Essential:_**
- A strong commitment to, and expert understanding of, recovery-based practice in the workplace.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and expert knowledge of data information management systems.
- Demonstrated skills in project management.
- Demonstrated experience in systemic advocacy.
- Demonstrated ability to collate and analyse data and prepare written reports.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation and to communicate complex information in a concise and meaningful way to a variety of target audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently, with initiative and take direction as required.
- Proven problem solving and people management skills.
- Excellent demonstrated written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

**_Desirable:_**

1. A personal lived experience of a mental health issue.
2. Current driver’s license.
3. A degree in behavioural sciences, research, or project management would be highly desirable.
