**Join Corporate Services, a group within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS)**
- **Clerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $106,025 - $117,363** per annum plus superannuation**
- **Ongoing** **role based in Sydney, NSW**

**About the role**

This newly created role provides expert advice on finance business and operational processes.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Advocate best operational accounting practices.
- Manage the fixed asset register (including AUC).
- Liaise with external service providers for efficient operations.
- Lead change management and quality control in finance.
- Provide accurate advice on BAS, FBT, PRT, and other tax matters.

**About You**

You are a proactive and adaptable professional with a deep understanding of financial processes and exceptional skills in financial accounting. Your skills and expertise include:

- Highly developed skills in financial accounting, which will be crucial in maintaining our financial integrity.
- Ideally, you have experience in the public sector and understand mandatory accounting and reporting requirements.
- Experience with SAP is highly regarded, as you’ll provide valuable advice on SAP-related issues, including invoicing and tax implications.
