As a Product Owner, you will be part of the I.AM (Identify, Act and Monitor) Amplified transformation program that plays a key role in the way ANZ manages changes to Compliance & Operational Risk (C&OR), to address known areas for improvement. The program contributes to our C&OR vision, whereby we effectively and efficiently identify and manage evolving operational risks and compliance obligations to keep our customers, employees and business’ thriving.

This role will be focused on supporting the Systems and Technology Stream within the Program. It will call upon your leadership, business knowledge and Agile working practices to ensure work is aligned to the goals and objectives of the Program.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
Assist with release planning with other members of the team to ensure alignment of priorities and timeframes between the business and technology
Provide continuous aggregation and communication of backlog and feature progress, dependency progress and major impediments affecting the release
Track and resolve impediments for the release
Translate business initiatives into cross-team releases
Provide fit-gap analysis and feasibility assessment across the teams against the scope/timeframe/value of release
Provide input into value assessments and do-ability
Coordinate and execute release activities across Squad/s
Plan and execute Program Increment Planning
Ensure the roadmap and backlog of opportunities and tasks are prioritised in line with strategic priorities
Build collaborative and productive stakeholder relationships through effective use of influencing and networking skills
Actively participate in daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Showcases and Retrospective ceremonies
Remove roadblocks, manage interdependencies, and ensure alignment with other Product Owners or teams / squads
What will your day look like
Proven ability to manage a large backlog of work across squads
The ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner using your stakeholder engagement and conflict management experience
Proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Proven influencing skills with strong written and oral communication capabilities
Experience in negotiating constructive outcomes in complex environments with competing priorities
The ability to talk and interact in both a technical and non-technical manner with key stakeholders, acting as an interface between the business and Technology teams
Extensive agile toolkit and experience in agile working practices
Ability to adapt and grasp new skills and content
Considerable experience in the financial services industry, preferably banking (risk and / or finance definite advantage)
Ability to co-ordinate across a range of dependencies to balance release planning with organisational dependencies
Experience in co-ordinating and / or executing moderate to complex post productive verification activities e.g. Business Verification Testing
Experience in co-ordinating disaster recovery, change and capacity plans; and supporting recovery of Production and / or implementation issues

Domain and technical skills
Project delivery experience with clear understanding of dependencies management and work breakdown structure
