**The Role**
Reporting to an Assistant Director the Project Support Officer will provide a range of administrative support, analysis and co-ordination activities to support the office of the department’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) and/or Transforming Program Administration for Schools and Universities Project (the Project) Senior Responsible Officer (SRO).

The key role of the Division is to support the SRO in the project management and governance of the large -scale transformational Project and to provide an alignment between the provision of technology services and the department direction in policy design and program management.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the APS Level 6 Project Support Officer may include:

- Providing administrative and organisational support to a team responsible for the delivery of ICT services and projects, within budget, quality and timeframes
- Contributing to budget processes including New Policy Proposals and costing requirements
- Analysis of a range of materials to develop reports and briefs
- Preparation of financial and/or Project monitoring, reporting and co-ordination activities
- Engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to the development of range of digital strategies
- Support the Project Board and/or other governance bodies
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
