**The Role**

Reporting to the NSW Workers Compensation Team Leader, the **Case Manager - Low Risk Claims** will be responsible for the finalisation of workers compensation claims and the management of a portfolio of non-significant workers compensation claims in accordance with Guild’s guidelines, policies, and procedures.

You will be the initial contact and support to workers and employers when confirming a new claim lodgement, so excellent customer service and relationship management skills are essential in this role. You will need to clearly set customer expectations and provide accurate information, education and options to assist claimants through the claim journey.

Working as part of a large team, you will be fully supported by other team members and Case Managers. Your primary function is to manage all claims in line with our claim’s guidelines and service standards and where necessary, escalating to other members of the team.

**About you**

You have experience in a similar claims role within the Workers Compensation industry along with a good knowledge of general insurance claims. You are dedicated to meeting the expectations of your stakeholders and act with the customer in mind - ‘client first approach”.

You possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral and have an eye for detail or attention to detail. You are a team player and thrive in a supportive and collaborative team.

You enjoy working on the phone, in a call-queueing environment, managing inbound and outbound calls and queries.

Prior experience using Guidewire will be advantageous but not essential, but you will need to be proficient in using the Microsoft suite of programs.

**About the Team**

This role will join a large team of approximately 20 based around locations in Australia. The NSW team is a team of 12 and have daily check-ins, monthly National team meetings and regular strategy meetings, so you will feel connected and up to date in the role. The team are very supportive, easy-going, and extremely adaptable.
