Our client is a significant multi-faceted not for profit organisation with an extensive network and reach. Their service offering is diverse and includes the delivery of a number of residential community and social services programs which enrich the lives of others.
The opportunity of Payroll Advisor is a
**part time 4 day per week** role. The role processes fortnightly and monthly payroll for around 450 employees. Day to day you will:
- Process Award and EA based payroll end to end
- Action changes to payroll data
- Process allowances, deductions and STIP payments
- Undertake payroll termination activities
- Process LSL, Annual Leave and other Benefits payments
- Complete PAYG and STP submissions to ATO
- Maintain employee and leave records
- Ensure Award and Agreement data is update to and in line with legislative requirements
- Administer employee self service
- Engage with employees to support pay queries and problem solving
- Generate payroll reports
- Experience in the use of payroll systems (ie Pay Global or similar)
- Stakeholder engagement capability and problem solving skills
- Accuracy processing high volume payroll
- Skills in managing superannuation and other statutory payments
- An approach of discretion in dealing with confidential information
- MS Office skills including Excel
