**Job Scope**:

- We are currently recruiting for a **Technical Specialist - Feeder Screens Wear Parts**. In our Service Group Consumables, we bundle all components that are “consumed” or worn out during the regular running of equipment and require predictable replenishment. Through our engineering, design, and materials expertise, we can greatly impact increasing the productivity of our customers’ operations.
- As a key member of our Screen and Feeder Consumable - Service Business Line Engineering Support team you will support FLSmidth’s vibrating screen, trommel, and feeder consumable screen media business. Screen media covers our extensive product range of consumable solutions for vibrating screens and trommels as well as various wedge wire and ancillary consumable products.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with Business Development and Global Service Line Managers to ensure a rapid response to screen media design and vibrating deck and trommel layout needs.
- Design of products, tooling, molds, manufacturing equipment, and processes within the identified product portfolio, adhering to design standards to meet customer requirements.
- Support global engineering efforts in product standardization, production methods, and materials.
- Developing designs using technical knowledge and experience, and establishing design criteria to the Company’s standards
- Undertake design, redesign, design review, verification, and approval process as requested and within the project timeline.
- Ensure designs deliver effective reliable products that can be viably, and cost-effectively manufactured.
- Prepare design briefs as required, instruct, direct, and guide third-party resources to detail design briefs.
- Participate in research and development of products and the improvement of manufacturing efficiency.
- Contribute to commissioning trialing and testing of processes and equipment.
- Enhance market knowledge related to assigned product portfolio through interactions with colleagues, suppliers, clients, and branch networks.
- Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.

**What you bring**:

- Recent experience within the engineering screen media in mineral processing or aggregates industries.
- Relevant, direct experience with screen and trommel media.
- Good understanding of mining wear solutions will be highly regarded specifically polyurethane and rubber manufacturing processes.
- Experience in a technical specialist role with success in developing sustainable solutions to support the sales effort to increase market share, productivity, and efficiency.
- Ability to develop relationships both internally and with external clients with a focus on customer service.
- Demonstrated business acumen to develop realistic business plans with stretch targets and a clear strategy to reach those targets.
- Experience utilizing ERP database systems is desired i.e. Oracle, Citrix / Epicor, SAP, or similar systems.
