**Partnerships Advisor - Clerk Grade 7/8 NSW Registry of Births Deaths & Marriages**
- 12-month temporary opportunity with possibility to be extended
- Providing stakeholder management support to national projects such as Digital Birth Certificate (DBC)
- DCS salary grade 7/8, base salary starting at $101,947 - $112,849 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Sydney CBD location - flexible working arrangements available (remote working options, flexible work hours)

Potential for future extension of temporary role based on funding extension

**About Us**:
NSW Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages (BDM) was established in 1856 to maintain registers necessary for the purposes of recording Births, Deaths and Marriages in the state. We meet the varied and valid needs of our customers by providing a range of certificates, products and information services that help establish a range of legal entitlements and is the newest agency within the Department of Customer service.

On behalf of registries around the country, BDM is leading cross-jurisdictional project such as the Digital Birth Certificate (DBC). This role will support the national products and programs team.

**The opportunity and the role**:
As the Partnerships Advisor you will support the delivery of key customer and project priorities across government, business and not-for-profit to identify strategic opportunities for engagement and improvement.

**Some key accountabilities include**:

- Influencing and engaging government and non-government partners and identify opportunities for collaboration
- Tracking progress against agreed targets, indicators and outcomes to accelerate delivery
- Collaborating with internal and external networks/partnerships to harness the capabilities of the Department to deliver customer service solutions
- Preparing briefings, submissions and presentations as required along with information talks to partner agencies
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience operating effectively in a complex, sensitive and changing environment with an ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong work ethic, outcome-focused and can-do attitude
- Experience in contract or key account coordination
