The digital footprint of Western Health is expanding considerably with a number of key capital projects to support integrated person-centred, coordinated, right and safe patient care across the organisation and closer to home:

- Oracle Cerner Millennium - Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- The Victorian Government announced the Mental Health Beds Expansion Project delivering 52 acute mental health beds at Sunshine Hospital, as part of the Mid-West Area Mental Health Services and Mercy Mental Health services transition and integration into Western Health.
- The Victorian Government is investing up to $1.5 billion to deliver a new 504 bed Footscray Hospital, the largest health infrastructure investment in the state.
- The Victorian Government has announced the building of a new world-class Melton Hospital and a Point Cook Community Hospital both of which will be managed by Western Health.

At a high level, duties include; update and review Data Collection Workbooks, design, validation and consult key stakeholders to make clinically informed design decisions, workflow creation and evaluating change requests, articulate workflows and benefits, conducting training, assisting with testing of new functionality, and effectively communicating with clinical users to support clinical change and adoption.

To provide additional clinical and professional oversight across WH, this role will have a dotted reporting line to the Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst - Medical Officer.

**The position is a 12-month fixed term full time contract. The scheduled start date of this role is February 2023 with contract until January 2024.**

Part time and opportunities beyond this period or a role change can be considered.
