Our client is a national Disability Services Provider, committed to providing people who have disabilities with quality and individualised support services through supported accommodation, day programs and in-home care, to allow them to achieve their life goals. Due to continuous growth, we are seeking a Practice Manager to join their team in this newly created role.
Reporting to the CEO, as the Practice Manager you will work across their multi-disciplinary Allied Health team and will be responsible for providing services and support to all internal and external stakeholders. This dynamic role would be ideal for a passionate and experienced Practice Manager/Administrator that enjoys working closely with Senior Management, Allied Health members, registered nurses, and administrative team members.
**The role**:
- Provide high level administration support and guidance
- Manage team performance of practice clinical and non-clinical employees
- Source and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, health providers, and community organisations
- Develop and implement a practice business plan which will enhance further an already high standard of patient health outcomes while driving financial sustainability
- Record, document and report any (but not limited to) clinical care and intervention incidents, changes, actions and outcomes.
- Assist with day to day operational needs
- Assist in the development, implementation, and review of individual programs.
- Participate in performance reviews and performance management
- Ensure process and systems are in accordance with National Standards for Accreditation
- Attend training and development programs as required and identify areas of development amongst the team
**What we’re looking for**:
- Min Diploma in medical administration and management with 5 years working knowledge of medical terminology and administration practices and processes (experience in medical, hospital, dental, health, aged care, disability services desirable)
- Experience in financial management and reporting processes
- Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships
- Ability to manage a diverse range of Team members and contractors
- Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised to effectively plan to anticipate problems
- Experience in multiple sites management is desirable
- Good working knowledge of the Medicare Schedule
- Passionate, energetic, results-focused and a 'can do' attitude. You are committed to a high
- level of integrity and professional standards
- Knowledge of NDIS requirements (desirable)
- Current NDIS Clearance check
- Current Unrestricted Driver’s License
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
