The Security officer - Cargo Screener, plays an important role in the detection of prohibited or dangerous items entering and leaving secure areas and aircraft. Essentially, the Security Officer - Cargo screener ensures the safe transportation of cargo and the smooth operation of logistics.
An opportunity is now available with Certis Security Australia, working in our Cargo screening division. The position is located within the Brisbane airport district with Casual opportunities across a Mon-Fri roster, there is also opportunities for full-time progression and work at numerous other sites with our business. This position requires the security officer to possess previous cargo screening experience or a certificate in transport security protection. Responsibilities
- Screening of Cargo
- Correct use of screening equipment
- Configuration of screening equipment
- Recording of screening information
- Understanding of SOP’s and EACE notice
