We are seeking a recognised and well-respected Information Technology professional with a record of achievement in delivering contemporary technical services in a large and complex environment. As a collaborative member of the Enterprise Solutions and Technology (EST) leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving technological and cultural change within the ATO.

As the **Assistant Commissioner, IT Service Management**, you will provide expertise in relation to the operational delivery, monitoring and measurement of a broad range of critical IT services, as well as the overarching Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and processes via an augmented internal and externally outsourced delivery model.

You will be responsible for leading the branch, developing staff capabilities and realising value out of existing and new contractual arrangements and service partners.

You will support the Enterprise Solutions and Technology (EST) Executive in achieving the EST Strategy, aligned to the ATO 2024 vision, while ensuring mission critical 24 x 7 IT services operationally support the availability of the digital ecosystem to the Australian tax community and internal business functions.

You will possess contemporary leadership skills and hold external partners to uplifted levels of accountability through the coordination and management of integration and delivery methods that ensure target service standards and service level agreements are met.

Working collaboratively with stakeholders and suppliers, you’ll anticipate requirements and ensure ITIL and operational processes remain fit for purpose into the future through transformation and continuous improvement. You’ll drive productivity increases and enhance user experience through automation, tools integration and self-service strategies.

This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in **Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra or Melbourne CBD.
