Finance Administrator

Right now, we are looking for a _Full Time Finance Administrator _to join our Finance Team.
**So, what does the role look like?**
The role requires working with several different data sources and revenue streams. You will assume primary responsibility for extracting, reviewing, and reconciling operational data. How do we make sure we have all the cash from the gaming floor or ensure F&B customers have been charged correctly? These issues are at the core of this role.
Specific tasks will be open to change over time - the role requires some flexibility (as we have a small team dealing with a LOT of revenue streams). You certainly shouldn't expect this to be a static role where you see everything you'll ever do in your first week
We can't list off all the possible day to day duties - but what I can tell you is what the role won't look like**:This is not your regular Finance Administrative role**. You won't be assisting with payroll, accounts payable or accounts receivable as we have an amazing team who specialises in those areas.
**What you will look like?**
You are well organised, methodical, hard-working and self-aware. Ideally, you love learning and building/challenging your knowledge. An understanding of business and accounting data flows will be beneficial - but you should be the type of person to raise an eyebrow and investigate if something "doesn't smell right".
Microsoft Excel should already be one of your best friends but, chances are, this role will teach you things you'd never considered about excel and data reconciliation.
You won't be expected to solve every problem you come across autonomously - but you do need to be able to work independently AND provide clear and concise status updates or escalations to various stakeholders. You should demonstrate initiative and not be afraid to admit that you don't understand something.
As to your previous career steps - who can say? We're looking to build a team of diversely skilled people - so lack of previous experience in Finance or Accounting (for example) isn't necessarily a deal-breaker - as long as you can demonstrate the other skills and aptitudes the role requires
