Seeking an experienced Doc Controller to work between a sight in Bellevue and East Perth

**Your new company**

Our client is a large State Government Organisation in East Perth who is seeking an experienced Document Controller, ideally with a construction background.

**Your new role**

Assists in the coordination and delivery of a large infrastructure project, including contract management, process administration and governance. Undertakes duties associated with the coordination and administration of engineering management processes to achieve entry into service and final asset acceptance.
- Provides project and administrative support to the Senior Project Manager and Construction Interface Manager, including project reporting and scheduling.
- Researches, collates, analyses, and prepares information and other data related to the Project as directed.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to the project as required.
- Assists the Delivery Team with the coordination of project objectives and addresses issues that may affect project milestones (as required).
- Organise meetings and provide support including preparation and distribution of reports, drawings, agendas and supporting documentation; recording and distributing minutes; and follow up of agreed actions as required.
- Verify and arrange payment of accounts using relevant financial management systems.
- Maintain sound documentation and project records to support project objectives in accordance with the department's policies and procedures.
- Organise and manage all project-related documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, correspondence, and reports.
- Ensure correct filing, storage, and retrieval of documents both in Teambinder and Objective.
- Maintains the document management system on Teambinder to track revisions, versions, and access permissions.
- Liaises with internal and external stakeholders on issues related to projects as required.
- Tracks and records contractors’ extension of time and request for information claims.
- Assists in the call and evaluation of tenders and award
- Reviews and reports on the performance of contracts and contractors.
- Tracks project claims and variations

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous state government experience is highly desirable
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise and relate effectively to stakeholders at all levels and in a variety of contexts
- Considerable recent experience providing relevant project and/ or contract support services, preferably in a complex project environment, including an understanding of document control & risk management
