The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Support Technician to join our team. This site-based role would be scheduled on a flexible FIFO roster of 7/7, 2/1, or a 2/2 working both day and night shifts. Reporting to the Site Support Supervisor, main responsibilities include:

  • Providing quality and timely customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of equipment
  • Attending to onsite site breakdowns and undertaking fault finding and diagnostic work
  • Maintaining the important link between the customer and the company, ensuring a high level of technical product support
  • Ensuring the HCA Safety Culture is embraced and displayed and driven from within

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant diesel or plant mechanic trade qualifications with experience in the maintenance of mining equipment
  • A strong safety focus with an understanding and ability to abide by site safety processes at all times
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Hitachi mining equipment would be an advantage
  • Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long-term relationships
  • Computer literacy skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • To be versatile, hands-on, and able to perform other related duties as required
  • Hold High Risk Licences – EWP – WAH – Dogging & Rigging

We are offering:

  • Permanent Full Time Position in a leading OEM with long-term job security
