**Client Administrator**

At bdhSterling, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional financial planning and advisory services. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Client Administrator to join our specialist Pension Transfers Team.

**Main Purpose**:
As a Client Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business operations by successfully transferring UK pensions to Australia on behalf of our clients. You will collaborate closely with providers in both the UK and Australia, as well as various internal departments, ensuring the smooth and secure delivery of clients’ funds. Throughout the transfer journey, you will maintain regular communication with clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Client Support: Prepare and implement pension transfer paperwork, arrange and verify pension benefit requests, and assist clients through in-person or video meetings.
- Process Management: Chase pension transfers from ceding schemes in the UK, prepare calculations for transfers, and arrange disinvestments on behalf of clients.
- Communication: Regularly update clients on their transfer status, confirm receipt of payments, and ensure ongoing investments.
- Relationship Building: Manage and strengthen relationships with service providers and clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

**Functional / Technical Skills**:
**Essential**:

- Excellent grammar, spelling, and written communication skills.
- Confident phone manner and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team, including remotely.
- Effective time management and prioritization of workloads.

**Desirable**:

- UK or Australian Financial services qualifications, or currently working towards them.
- Experience in the UK Financial Services industry, particularly pensions.
- Background in a Financial Advisory Practice.
- Experience with pensions, superannuation, investments, or insurance.
- Administration and customer service experience.
