Position Overview

This position is responsible for providing our wide range of theatrical and broadcast clients the technical input to design and implement media solutions successfully and effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Perform video editing, transcoding and packaging as determined by client requirements
- Creating Dubbed and Subtitled DCPs for theatrical exhibition throughout the APAC region
- Ensuring that packages mastered playback correctly, in sync and to client requirements
- Responsible for ensuring high quality services are released on behalf of clients, as well as provide QC service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Train new staff when required
- Document and design production workflows
- Perform all QC requirements including video and audio
- Systems support
- Communicate and collaborate with management from other departments
- Attend client meetings offering support for sales and client services
- Monitor performance and KPI’s
- Actively monitor project risks to foresee problems and proactively identify solutions to rectify
- Analyse and monitor production workflows to identify problems and recommend solutions that will improve performance
- Establish and monitor automation workflows
- Provide simplified explanations of technical workflows, procedures and definitions
- Willing to travel as required. Domestic and Internationally
- Other related technical/administrative tasks

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a media operations environment or similar role
- Solid technical understanding of the television and film distribution industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of major media software and hardware including Adobe CC, Clipster & Transkoder
- Demonstrated ability to develop new procedures and processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
- Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, frame rates etc.
- Strong understanding of Mac, Linux and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of basic command line operations
- VTR knowledge of current and redundant formats is favourable
