**Your part in St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital team**
- As the After Hours Coordinator, you will be accountable for the coordination of bed allocations, the care delivered, and implementation of emergency procedures within the hospital after hours. You will collaborate with other departmental managers to facilitate the provision of quality cost-effective care, and you will also be responsible after hours for the effective and efficient use and management of human and material resources according to the departmental budget allocations. You will also monitor the standard of care through implementation and evaluation of quality management programmes, and assume accountability and responsibility for your own actions and act to rectify unsafe nursing practice and unprofessional conduct and performance of staff reporting to you.***

**What makes a difference for us?**
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse in an acute care setting
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and AHPRA registration
- Be ALS and PALS trained
- Ability to work evening, night and weekend shifts
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship
- Demonstrated ability to recognise and respond to clinical deterioration
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvements
- Hold or working towards post-graduate qualifications - _desirable_
