Croplands currently has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer based in Dry Creek to join our dynamic procurement team. Within your role you will focus on purchasing components and services for the company from both local and overseas suppliers. **What’s possible at Croplands**:

- Reviewing MRP generated purchasing reports and analysing data to produce accurate purchase orders
- Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships with both suppliers and internal customers
- Reviewing back order reports and expediting urgent requirements
- Liaising daily with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure a smooth purchasing process and on time delivery
- Updating the ERP price list as required
- Ensuring the ERP system up keep is maintained and up to date
- Proactively reviewing Purchasing processes in consultation with Supply Chain Manager to facilitate a culture of ongoing process improvement
- Participating in bi annual stock takes

**What do you bring?**

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer who is familiar with importing products and dealing with a high volume of diverse product lines. This individual will be well versed with MRP based Purchasing and Inventory control systems and have experience with maintaining stock balances and forecasting.

The successful applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication and follow up skills with the ability to develop and manage effective stakeholder relationships with suppliers and internal customers. A keen eye for detail is pivotal to success in the role.

**Salary**: From $72,000.00 per year
