**About the Company**
Davidson Recruitment is a preferred supplier for the Government sector and have strong partnerships within Local, State and Federal Government. We currently have an opportunity for an experiences Records officer to commence a contract immediately.
**About the Role**
- Creating and registering new files using the electronic document and records management system.
- Performing administrative duties associated with the storage, offsite transfer and archiving of files.
- Providing a mail and file delivery service to internal clients and undertaking routine and ad hoc deliveries/collections external clients
- Sorting, categorising, registering, scanning, disseminating and filing incoming correspondence.
- Conducting regular audits of file locations and updating details in the electronic document and records management system as necessary.
- Undertaking related records management administrative duties as required.
**About You**
- Have a knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of MicroFocus Content Manager, electronic Document and Records Management Systems (eDRMS).
- Display good keyboard skills and the ability to perform routine administrative tasks including the use of standard office equipment such as barcode scanners, photocopiers, franking machines and high speed document scanners.
- Demonstrate interpersonal and written and oral communication skills which support the provision of quality client service.
- Display a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
**Possession of a current Queensland Class C driver license is mandatory for this position**
