Additional Information:
- This role is Permanent, Part-time, 40hrs/fortnight.
- This role requires availability to work a range of hours from 6:00am to 10:00pm Monday to Sunday, on a rotating roster.
- You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
- Rosters at IKEA are published 4-weeks in advance to provide you time to plan your work/personal life ahead.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
- If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-day Welcome induction on Monday 16 September 2024 or Monday 30 September, 9am-5pm.
**About this work area**
As a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that daily operations run smoothly with a focus on order fulfillment and inventory availability.
- Picking, packing, and checking orders for both online & in store for collection or delivery orders within set KPIs.
- Supporting customers with the collection and hand-out of their Click & Collect orders.
- Using your attention to detail skills when picking assigned orders, using the RF scanning system to check accuracy and prepare orders for in-store collection or home delivery.
- Replenishing your assigned area to ensure it is fully stocked and available for customers.
- Using inventory systems to ensure stock availability is as accurate as possible.
- Adhering to IKEA’s safety policies, rules, and guidelines to allow for safe goods movement through the store and storage to ensure the safety of both customers and co-workers.
- Supporting the wider fulfilment operations team with tasks where required.
As a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker you are or have:
- A growth mindset with a willingness to continually learn and grow within Fulfilment Operations.
- Ability to collaborate, yet also be able to work autonomously and be self-directed within your work.
- An energetic approach as you will be on your feet all day.
- Strong customer service skills, alongside being able to interact with many customers consistently.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and a keen eye for attention to detail.
- A safe mindset, being comfortable with physical work and manual handling, including repetitive heavy lifting.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
