As part of their growth strategy, the company is expanding their market making services to provide comprehensive solutions to existing and upcoming crypto/DeFi/blockchain projects.

**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our client's team. As the Business Development Manager for Market Making Services, you will be responsible for driving sales and establishing strategic partnerships with existing crypto/DeFi/blockchain projects and projects preparing to list on exchanges. Your primary goal will be to promote and sell our client's market making services, positioning them as a valuable solution for liquidity provision and enhancing trading volumes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to promote our client's market making services to target customers within the crypto/DeFi/blockchain industry.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers, including project founders, CEOs, CTOs, and other relevant stakeholders, in order to understand their liquidity requirements and present tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the business development process.
- Collaborate closely with the quant trading team and other internal stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of the company's market making services, features, and benefits, enabling you to effectively articulate their value proposition.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to showcase the benefits of our client's market making services, addressing client needs and objections effectively.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring a win-win scenario for both parties while achieving revenue targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless onboarding of clients and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on business development activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven track record in business development or sales roles within the financial services industry, preferably in crypto/DeFi/blockchain sectors.
- Strong understanding of market making services and their role in the crypto/DeFi/blockchain ecosystem.
- Familiarity with quantitative trading strategies, algorithmic trading, and high-frequency trading technology is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term client relationships, with a focus on B2B sales and account management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts and tailor messages to different audiences.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven ability to work independently and meet ambitious targets.
- Solid understanding of the crypto market landscape, including exchanges, liquidity providers, and regulatory dynamics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving market conditions.
