Client Information:
The client has been operating since 1935 providing unique hobbies, models, games, toys, and more to entertain and excite their customers.

Objective:
As a Marketplace Specialist, you are responsible for efficiently managing and expanding the client’s presence across online platforms like but not limited to eBay, Amazon, Catch, Kogan, MyDeal, Qantas Rewards, Everyday Rewards, and TradeMe. By ensuring accurate product listings, improving data quality, and collaborating with marketplace partners, you aim to boost sales and revenue. You will also work closely with internal teams to seize growth opportunities and drive overall success.

Key Responsibilities:
Catalogue Management: Overseeing and maintaining our product catalogues on the designated marketplaces, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with each platform's requirements.

Data Quality Enhancement: Proactively identifying and rectifying data discrepancies and errors to enhance the quality and integrity of our listings, thereby optimizing our visibility and performance on each marketplace.

Promotion Collaboration: Researching, strategizing, and collaborating with marketplace representatives to leverage promotional opportunities throughout the year, to maximize sales and revenue.

Internal Communication: Liaising with internal teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for marketplace growth, sharing insights and recommendations to drive business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role focused on marketplace management, with a proven track record of driving growth and delivering results.

Marketplace Expertise: A strong understanding of key online marketplaces such as Amazon FBM and FBA, eBay, and Catch is essential. Familiarity with other marketplaces is advantageous and can be acquired on the job.

Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing marketplace data, identifying trends, and deriving actionable insights to inform decision-making and optimize performance.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Adaptability: The willingness and ability to adapt to evolving marketplace dynamics, technologies, and trends, staying ahead of the curve to maintain our competitive edge.

Remote Work Readiness: Demonstrating proficiency in remote work practices and technologies, ensuring seamless integration into remote work environments. This includes effective communication, time management, and collaboration skills to maintain productivity and achieve objectives while working remotely.

Preferred Experience in ChannelAdvisor: Familiarity with ChannelAdvisor, an e-commerce platform that provides comprehensive solutions for managing online marketplaces, is highly desirable. Experience or proficiency in ChannelAdvisor would be advantageous in streamlining and optimizing marketplace operations and workflows.
