What does the job look like?

The Linfox Healthcare team provide innovative and industry leading warehousing and distribution services for pharmaceutical and medical device companies across Australia and New Zealand. We continue to invest and grow our capability to support increased freight demand and provide confidence and reliability across the network. We are also looking to grow our team with passionate and dedicated supply chain professionals who share and can deliver our vision of operational excellence. The National Operations Manager is an ideal opportunity for someone who demonstrates these qualities.

This is a senior leadership role within our Healthcare and Consumer Group and is an incredible opportunity for an established Healthcare supply chain professional to continue to develop the business and their career. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be well positioned to execute the business strategy, assuming responsibility for safety, operational, financial and customer service performance for multiple sites throughout the region. You will rely on your strong leadership and effective decision-making capabilities to drive improvement and deliver on our commitment to highly valued customers. Key areas:

- Lead the safety and sustainability strategy with a practical and operational focus
- Identifying, evaluating, and addressing risks with operational responsibility focused on driving improvement and innovation across the network
- Effective management and development of direct reports and wider workforce across geographically diverse operations to drive positive outcomes
- Proactive management of customer relationships facilitating growth through new customer integration and organic growth of existing accounts
- Drive productivity to maximise utilisation of resources throughout the operation, control costs, deliver service excellence and maintain a focus on strategic initiatives

- Significant experience in Operational Management roles within the healthcare supply chain with a demonstrable record of safety, operational and financial performance
- Ability to confidently lead, drive outcomes and develop diverse high-performance teams
- Understanding of financial drivers, cost control and operational budgeting
- Process driven, analytical and methodical with a passion to drive continuous improvement
