**The Role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our Melbourne Property team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The duties of this role include document preparation and file management; drafting correspondence; organising and preparing contracts for sale and vendor's statements; arranging exchange and investment of deposit; liaising with agents, clients and solicitors/conveyancers regularly, drafting statement of adjustments and organising and attending settlements (including bulk off the plan settlements). The conveyancing work involves both commercial and residential sales, mortgagee sales, off the plan, and general commercial conveyancing.

You will be working directly with two partners and a range of lawyers in a collaborative team, with the opportunity to have a variety of work and a degree of autonomy consummate with your experience level.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Experience as a conveyancer in a commercial property practice including off the plan developments.
- Exceptional communication skills and a solid understanding of conveyancing.
- A good understanding of the regulatory issues relating to off the plan contracts and foreign investment.
- Strong organisational and file management skills.
- Experience with time entry and electronic billing.
- An eye for detail, strong service orientation and enthusiastic approach to your work.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Advanced skills in Word, Outlook and Excel;
- Proficiency using FileSite or similar document management system; and
