- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Communicating with medical staff, both onsite and off-site.
- Answering enquiries, coordinating courier and medical centre collections, and assisting with pathology results.
- Handling calls from collectors in the field, addressing questions specific to test inquiries, and managing calls in a busy call centre.
- Performing general administrative duties.
- Working on weekends as required, with full training provided.
- Maintaining customer confidentiality.
- Liaising with laboratory staff.
**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- Sound typing/data entry skills (approximately 50 wpm with 98% accuracy)
- Previous experience or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organisation
- A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
- Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
- Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong customer focus and general office skills
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
