**About the role**

As a Field Worker A in our Field Services team, you will be responsible for undertaking general maintenance with a focus on parks and reserves in the city.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Operate machinery and undertake detailed maintenance of garden and turf areas to Council Standards
- Undertake the maintenance of irrigation systems
- Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained to manufacturer’s specifications and Council standards

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Statements of Attainment for the competencies outlined in the responsibilities under accountabilities in the position description
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership

Pre employment medical:
A pre employment medical is required for this position (including drug and alcohol testing)

FIT Testing Respiratory protection equipment:

- Workers must pass a respirator fit test before they first start wearing a tight-fitting respirator and at regular intervals during their employment.
- Workers must be clean-shaven or only have facial hair that doesn’t interfere with the fitting surfaces and the valve of the respirator.

Immunisation:
This position may involve work which requires immunisation against Q Fever.

This is a permanent full time role, Level 2 - 4 with a salary commencing at $61,723 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
