About the Role

As a Field Worker (Construction) with Ipswich City Council, you will be part of the Capital Delivery team. Your responsibilities will include undertaking skilled civil and/or municipal construction and maintenance work in accordance with Council standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the completion of road and park construction works, including concreting driveways and footpaths, full road reconstruction, pouring kerb and channel, and park construction.
  • Operate machinery within your licencing requirements.
  • Maintain all machinery and equipment to manufacturer's specifications and Council standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current C Class Drivers Licence.
  • A General Safety induction (Construction Industry) Card.
  • A Certificate III in Construction would be desirable.
  • A pre-employment medical will be required for this role (including Drug and Alcohol Testing).
