This role can be based either from our Sydney or London office, reporting to the Co-Head of Service Management, the Service Transition Lead will be responsible for leading Service Transition Governance, development and leading Transition Managers through the orderly delivery of projects into production service to meet client needs.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of service transition design concepts, and ensuring the high quality delivery of service to clients, the Service Transition Lead will collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives, manage risk, standardise process and ensure service team readiness.

**In this role, you’ll be responsible for**:

- Develop and lead the service transition strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
- Ensure smooth handover into Live Service, using the Design principles set by the Service Design Team
- Mentor and support the Transition Managers to deliver quality service transition solutions and exceptional client experience.
- Manage the Change, Release & Hypercare processes
- Provide direction and line management to Transition Managers in accordance with Bravura processes and policies, including staff development and performance management.
- Develop and maintain robust and repeatable templated Service Transition & Acceptance processes.
- Develop and manage service transition plans and status updates for the activities and deliverables required.
- Presenting and communicating the reasons for the approach being proposed for software changes and justifying the cost of change internally and also to external customers.
- Deliver service transition activities within time and budget constraints, meeting the required level of quality and KPI’s
- Review the outcomes of Service transition project to determine if any corrective actions to improve future delivery in terms of costs, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the service transition process and ensure smooth service handover to operations teams.
- Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships and guide projects in accordance with SLA
- Input to and accountable for service transition financial budget to meet business objectives costs.
- Accountable for the creation and negotiation of SLAs, understanding and documenting them along with the negotiation of the levels of service to be delivered with the client production
- Provide associated KPI, Metrics and reporting to support the Service Transition process to provide governance so that adequate risk and issue management has been undertaken and all acceptance criteria and Go Live requirements have been met

**On your first day, we'll expect you to have**:

- At least 5 years experience in an IT support lead position or service management
- Degree in Design, Business, Computer Science or IT related field
- Extensive knowledge of software development agile methodologies
- End-to-end and appropriate Managed Services architecture and design that meets the customer’s needs including creation and delivery of presentations and RFP
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams and foster collaboration
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Deep understanding of human cantered design principles, digital technologies and emerging trends.
- Understand financial demands associated with software changes and understanding complex release schedules
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and ideas to diverse stakeholders and manage their expectations

- Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams, including product, engineering and operations
