**Description**:
We believe supporting mental health in the workplace involves more than focusing on illness and reactive (crisis) interventions. Our custom designed suite of mental health and wellbeing programs provide a holistic and integrated response to Workplace Mental Health. We empower participants to be proactive in strengthening their own mental health, practice resilience and stay well at work. We also enable managers and organisational leadership to promote workplace wellbeing and create healthier, safer work environments.

**As a Sydney based Mental Health Trainer, you can expect to**:

- Facilitate Mental Health First Aid and workplace wellbeing programs either face-to-face or via virtual platforms such as Zoom
- Incorporate and share your professional skills and expertise
- Work with clients across a diverse range of industries and sectors, from corporate to government to community services
- Adapt your teaching style to suit participants of different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
- Be 'on the go' - travelling to different training locations and facilities within Sydney's metropolitan suburbs (and occasionally rural NSW and interstate if required)
- Consider additional shifts at short notice
- Be part of a positive, friendly, supportive and adaptable team
- Enjoy great working conditions

**Skills and Experiences**:
Must haves
- An accreditation from MHFA Australia to teach Standard Mental Health First Aid
- A tertiary qualification in psychology or mental health related discipline
- Experience in group facilitation with proven program delivery to diverse populations
- You will need to be comfortable utilising technology when delivering programs virtually or face-to-face
- Full working rights in Australia
- A willingness to consent to Premium Health conducting a Criminal History Check
- A current drivers' licence and your own reliable and insured vehicle
- Confidence and willingness to travel around Sydney and sometimes further afield.

- All relevant insurances, including Workcover, public liability and professional indemnity

Nice to haves
- Experience in either private practice or community-based services
- Experience working as a youth or social worker or mental health nurse
