This is a hands-on role, and you will be responsible for building the QA and QC function of this evolving business.

Responsibilities include: Implement, maintain and ensure compliance to the company QMS including creation and review of SOP’s.

Manage the development, implementation and maintenance of Quality Control systems ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements.

Oversee quality control testing of raw materials and finished goods.

Ensure products meet required standards and regulatory requirements.

Update all documentation supporting QC and QA functions.

Ensure production processes meet GMP and GLP standards.

Conduct audits.

Keep up to date with industry regulations and standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and regulatory affairs, to build a robust R&D Product QMS.

Monitor product testing and review test results to ensure that quality standards are met.

Investigate customer complaints.

Review supplier processes and materials to ensure that they meet quality requirements.

Ensure product packaging is compliant.

Relevant tertiary qualifications

Experience gained working in a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical environment.

Capable of working in a hands on and autonomous capacity.
