**Our client**:
This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth technology firm that is revolutionizing the industry. Our client is seeking a QA (Quality Assurance) Officer to join their dynamic team based in Sydney. As a QA Officer you will play a crucial role in the operations of the business. You will ensure products are built to a high standard and components received from suppliers are consistent in quality and performance.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Perform product assembly and quality control inspections to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
- Utilize RF equipment such as transmitters, receivers, and antennas, to test and validate the functionality of electronic components.
- Troubleshoot problems with electrical equipment, conducting thorough investigations and implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate build and quality control documentation throughout production batches.
- Conduct incoming goods inspections to verify the quality of materials and components and update the QC checkpoints in the ERP system.
- Manage quality issues with suppliers, proactively resolving any issues and generating non-conformance reports (NCRs) as needed.
- Collaborate with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality concerns and improve overall processes.
- Conduct final product packing and inspection to ensure compliance with customer requirements before goods are shipped to end customers.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate measures.
- Adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements related to product quality and safety.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Officer preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Experience maintaining build and quality control documentation in a production environment.
- Strong technical expertise in product assembly and a good understanding of RF equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical equipment and resolving technical issues.
