**We are currently looking for an Engineering Support Coordinator to join our Rail Engineering and Integration (REI) team based in Pyrmont, NSW.**
The Engineering Support Coordinator role involves aiding in both the growth and upkeep of the company's engineering expertise and the organization of its engineering knowledge base. The coordinator will collaborate with teams tasked with delivering projects to ensure they meet client and regulatory competency requirements. They will also work with engineering Communities of Practice to pinpoint and handle the needs for capturing and disseminating knowledge throughout the lifecycle of system assets.
**Responsibilities of the role include**:
- Assist in refining and managing John Holland's engineering competency pathways and maintaining a competency register.
- Collaborate with the Training group to craft a training plan that supports competency development at John Holland.
- Build relationships with key clients and engineering authorities to ensure John Holland's alignment with competency and process standards.
- Enhance knowledge management systems by reviewing and implementing improvements to John Holland's Information Management System (IMS) and Communities of Practice (CoPs).
- Develop clear and accessible engineering process content, ensuring information is well-organized and easily retrievable for project delivery use.
- Actively support engineering CoPs, integrating knowledge into John Holland's overall engineering knowledge base and competency framework.
- Foster an inclusive culture, adhere to John Holland's values and policies, and promote knowledge sharing and innovation for delivery excellence.
**What we are looking for**:
- Degree qualified (preferably with a further relevant post graduate qualification) in a Construction or Engineering profession or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry (e.g. construction/engineering/design)
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for information manipulation and management across diverse software platforms (E.g. Python, Power Automate, AI Service via API and SharePoint Integration)
