Job Title:

Tunneling Engineer - Project Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Tunneling Engineer to join our team as a Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating on-site engineering functions and providing efficient support to construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate procurement of subcontractors for project works, including writing scopes, liaising with representatives, reviewing tender submissions, and assisting with preparing recommendations
  • Assist with design reviews, focusing on constructability and practical application
  • Provide input to the project program
  • Analyze and review previous project data to contribute to delivery strategies for M6 Stage 1
  • Contribute to planning and execution of site establishment works for tunnel sites
  • Coordinate material delivery, tracking, and reporting
  • Undertake safety reviews of site works
  • Perform quality inspections and reviews of works, including ITC and ITP completion
  • Coordinate regular quality inspections with the client
  • Manage verification of conformance for works under control
  • Track daily progress, productivity, and costs, and report
Requirements:
  • Hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent)
  • Undergo a medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing, prior to commencement

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum
