**Occupational Therapist Assistant**

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated **Occupational Therapy student **to join our Wollongong CBD practice on a casual basis to gain some relevant experience during their Occupational Therapy degree.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will assist:

- Delivering services in capacity as a Therapy Assistant (supervised and directed by the qualified OT) for Children with disabilities. This could be training or therapy with clients and their families/ supports
- Developing resources
- Researching equipment/ aids/ services, gathering quotes
- Supporting the administration team in reception on a routine and ad hoc duties
- Assisting with marketing activities as required

**Position Requirements**:

- Currently studying a degree in Occupational Therapy
- Working with Children Check (for Paid work) & NDIS Worker Check
- Current driver’s license and access to a vehicle for work (KMs will be reimbursed)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Potential flexibility in schedule

We will offer the successful applicant:

- Paid hours to develop their Occupational Therapy skills
- Attendance at fortnightly team meetings and regular team training (provided that this fits with their university timetable)
- Clinical Supervision
- An extensive range of contemporary assessments and resources
