About the role

Our Remediation Stream Lead is seen as a trusted advisor & business partner who is responsible for performing Remediation investigations and activities. Ensuring end-to-end development of Remediation solutions.
- Formulating solutions for large-scale remediation activities, with focus on protecting our brand and customers
- Responsible for managing and governing the delivery of account remediation, ensuring the delivery of remediation is timely and adheres to quality standards.
- Create and maintain rigorous documentation to support and govern remediation activities, including account action, financial tracking, risk and issue logs, and providing status updates against progress.
- Design, create, and deliver policies and procedures for remediation activities and facilitate training to remediation staff whilst maintaining high levels of governance to frameworks and standards.
- Perform Quality Assurance checks and monitoring across remediation activities, ensuring high degrees of oversight, governance and control to activities and adherence to frameworks.

We are a small team, so it is “all hands-on deck.” You should be flexible with the ability to use your initiative, know when to pitch in to get the job done.

You will come with extensive knowledge across banking systems and processes, combined with effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with large stakeholder groups at multiple levels.
- Experience in analysis and documentation, with discipline on adhering to frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to analyse business processes and workflows, and clearly articulate issues, root cause and solutions, taking a data and fact-based approach.
- Ability to use facts to consider a range of possible solutions and decision-making skills to influence the most appropriate resolution.
- Understanding of financial industry legislation and regulation
