- Based at the Brunswick CBD campus, hybrid working possible- About The Position:

- The Lecturer (Fashion Enterprise) is expected to teach primarily within our new and increasingly successful Bachelor of Fashion (Enterprise) program and contribute to research within the School of Fashion & Textiles.
- Fashion Enterprise examines contemporary commercial, consumer, ethical and environmental dimensions of the global fashion industry. To compliment our existing staff team, we have two vacancies for lecturers with expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- eCommerce, digital marketing, and/or social media marketing in the fashion sector.-
- Contemporary fashion product buying, sourcing, and/or distribution strategies.-
- Sustainable and ethical business practices within the fashion industry.- Work Integrated Learning and Industry partnerships are at the heart of the Bachelor of Fashion (Enterprise) program.
- About the role
- As Lecturer (Fashion Enterprise) you will be expected to foster close relationships with industry partners pertinent to your teaching and research interests, while having the ability to supervise and mentor academic and commercial student research/capstone projects.
- To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
- The ability to prepare, deliver, and assess fashion business courses at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum and course materials.-
- Experience in course coordination and the capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students especially on issues related to effective learning.-
- An emerging record and recognition for quality research outputs which will contribute to existing Discipline and School research areas evidenced by publications, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links.The ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government.- Qualifications
- PhD in relevant discipline.
