- About the Role:
Our incredible Internal Communications team is currently looking for an Internal Communications Coordinator to join them in a 12 month, fixed term, full time capacity based out of Blackburn, Melbourne (with hybrid working arrangements).

The Internal Communications Coordinator will support the Internal Communications Advisors to implement campaigns and activities across the various channels. This includes supporting the Internal Communications Team to deliver effective communications that meet their requirements, in line with the national internal communications strategy.

This role will include the development and delivery of key internal communication pieces for a range of stakeholders, utilising national channels, particularly content coordination and development for the Intranet and internal social media channel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure communications tactics are developed and delivered in line with national processes and protocols, brand and broader communication objectives
- Develop a range of collateral such as news posts, social media content, newsletters and toolkits so The Salvation Army personnel are kept informed and engaged
- Work with the Internal Communications Team to develop professional, informative and engaging content, using a range of mediums, for internal communication channels
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure all content across Internal Communications channels is up-to-date, timely and engaging

About you:

- A degree qualification in Communication, Marketing, Journalism or a related field
- At least 1 year experience in communications, journalism or related fields
- Proven experience in using a range of communication mediums and content development tools
- A knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 (including Viva Engage, formerly Yammer) will be highly regarded
- Experience within the NFP sector will be highly regarded
