**Employment type - Temporary Full Time, up-to 12 months (possible extension)**

**Clerk Grade 1 / 2, Salary - $67,975 - $73,901, plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**

**Your role**

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Service Officer (Payroll) to be part of our HR Shared Service Team within Shared Services & Customer Experience (SSCX). Support includes data entry in multiple systems, registers and data bases, word processing, records management and meeting support.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the HR Shared Service Team you will;
- Prepare routine documents in word processing software, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate and well-presented information.
- Enter data into data bases and validate automated data capture ensuring the timely delivery of accurate entries.
- Scan, file and retrieve government records in the electronic document and record management system and the government repository following work instructions consistent with policy, procedures and legislation
- Provide a professional, courteous and confidential service to colleagues, vendors and visitors.

**What we’re looking for**

To be successful in this role you will;
- Display proven administrative experience in a previous role.
- Display Intermediate level of Excel skills
- Demonstrate a high attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrate an ability to work with mínimal supervision whilst prioritising own workload and managing competing deadlines.
