We are seeking a dedicated and experienced WHS&W Advisor to join our team and help us maintain a secure and healthy work environment.

Working with a dynamic group of clients that span hospital pharmacies, cancer centres and pharmaceutical compounding (production) across Australia and NZ, you will provide guidance and support to stakeholders who are passionate about providing the best patient care and have a strong sense of purpose and pride in making a difference.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Pharmacy Services, Slade Health Compounding, Icon Cancer Centres) to design and promote employee wellness programs, including mental health initiatives, fitness programs, and ergonomic solutions.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training programs, including new orientations, to increase awareness and promote a safety-conscious culture.
- Investigate incidents and near-hits, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Lead emergency preparedness efforts, including training sessions, drills, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources.
- Monitor and evaluate safety metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance safety performance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations, and proactively suggest improvements to our health and safety practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety / Diploma in WHS.
- Experience with Rehabilitation and Return to Work.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with proven knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels and promote a positive safety culture.
- Experience in developing and implementing wellness programs would be an asset.
