**Job description**:
Fremantle Australia, one of the largest creators, producers and distributors of television content in the world and home to celebrated Australian dramas such as _Heartbreak High, Wellmania, _and _Neighbours,_ have teamed up with TAFE NSW to deliver an intensive 3-day training course on working in the production department of scripted drama productions.
Successful applicants will need to be available to attend the course in person at TAFE Ultimo Campus for 3 days commencing Wednesday 26 April 2023.
**_ Please note this 3-day period _**_is a free training course provided by TAFE NSW which will provide invaluable networking opportunities and exposure to the technical side of television production. It will also open the door to a potential career path in the broader film and television production industry, with the possibility for progression to more senior roles within the production department and beyond._**

**_What We'll Cover:_**
The key skills and responsibilities of the role of Production Secretary on a film/television production include:
- Development and production schedules
- Cast and crew travel
- Production worksite set-up
- Production deliverables management
- Call sheets
- Daily progress reports
- Crew and service provider booking
- Key production communications
- The broader responsibilities and functions of the Production Department as the nerve centre of a film/television production including the role and responsibilities of senior personnel including the Production Coordinator, Production Manager and Line Producer
- Understanding how to effectively work on a film/television production and the key skills required for career development

- To have a strong work ethic with dedicated and high customer service
- Be familiar with data management (in drop box or other server filing systems)

**_ Eligibility_**
- Must be an Australian Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident, or Humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand Citizen
- Living in NSW
- 18 years and over
- Completed HSC and/or relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. business degree)
- Must be available and committed to the full 3-day course commencing Wednesday 26th April 2023
