Team Leader, Logistics (OEM, Despatch, Receiving)
Direct Reports:
N/A
Key Clients & Stakeholders:
- Service Centre Team
- Local leadership team
- Employees across all business units
- Key internal project leaders
Purpose:
- To assist in activities within the Service Department of Ingenico.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Logistics Services tasks such as receiving, despatch, inventory control, stocktake, secure destruction and manifesting.
- Create/update documentation as required for relevant areas of work
- To act in accordance with relevant Workers Health and Safety legislation and the company’s WH&S policy.
- To act in accordance with relevant Environmental legislation and the company’s Environmental policy.
- The employee accepts responsibility to follow all procedures and policies of the Quality Management System applicable to their position, the task at hand and as directed by the company.

Competencies, Skills and Experience
Competencies:
- Communication skills to interact within Ingenico and to external customers.
- Continuous improvement - Identifying and implementing process improvements that impact quality of products, services and processes.
- Learning - Identifying new areas for learning; creating and taking advantage of learning opportunities; using newly acquired knowledge, experiences and skills on the job and willingly sharing information with colleagues.
- Teamwork - Working cooperatively with others, to be a part of a team, to work together, as opposed to working separately or competitively. Using appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team and complete team goals.
**Skills**:
- Experience of using a warehouse management system
- Experience of working with an ERP tool in logistics space
- Excellent organisational skills.
- A flexible approach to duties and hours where necessary.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficient in using MS Office and related tools. Bare minimum MS Excel
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety principles and legislation
**Experience**:
- Experience in a warehousing/distribution/logistics environment
Core Requirements
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Good time management - ability to prioritise and multitask
- Ability to work well within your team and autonomously
- Ability to be proactive and take initiative
- Meet KPIs
- Forklift Driving experience is a favourable
Qualification:
- Relevant Tertiary qualification/Warehouse and/or Technical Service Centre experience
Compliance:
- Contribute to health and safety at work by identifying, reporting and controlling hazards and promptly reporting incidents
- Comply with all applicable company policies
- A favourable Police Check and other background checks are required
Information Security
- Comply with company policies and procedures in relation to Information security and confidentiality
- Avoid working in a manner that represents any unacceptable risk to information security, including non-work activities which result or could result in breach of the information security policy
- Report any breach of privacy, security or confidentiality in a timely manner to protect the interests of the company
