**Events Manager - Moorabbin base**

**Kogan People Solutions**, recruiters, are delighted to be working with a very well regarded events catering firm located in Moorabbin Vic, who provide strictly Kosher catering for all manner of occasions. They provide catering services to many venues across both Melbourne interstate, to personal, corporate and not-for-profit events**.**

Exquisite menus, delicious Kosher cuisine, and stunning presentation, coupled with outstanding service, makes our client a cut above their competitors.

They now seek a skilled and qualified Event Manager, who has a working knowledge of Kosher catering, to join them as their business continues to prosper.

The role is full time and ongoing.

Salary in the range $70k to $80k plus superannuation

**Main Duties/Responsibilities/ Requirements**
- Develop, prepare, implement and oversee all activities associated with the planning and delivery of events at multiple venues. This may include contractual obligations; budgets; event booking systems; operational and risk management plans; and stakeholder communication management.
- Creating realistic timelines and maintaining them across event projects
- Managing and building Event Run Sheets and schedules
- Managing and maintaining budgets
- Managing OH&S and Risk Assessment
- Client and supplier relationship management
- Exhibit and develop creative and marketing skills
- Management and coordination of various graphics files for the development of invitations, holding
- slides, event programs, menus, signage, etc
- Management of events onsite with various client stakeholders, suppliers, and guests
- Management and coordination of technical Run Sheets and with the ability to fully brief technical teams onsite delivering Audio Visual as well as the full management of this segment of the event throughout pre-production

**Skills attributes & Experience**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience (preferably much more) as an Event Manager is required
- Minimum relevant Diploma or agreed equivalent
- Excellent organisational skills
- Well-developed negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- The capacity to conceptualise and add value to the event brief
- Clear communication skills with clients, suppliers, and team members
- Strong Microsoft Office competence
- Strong time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and capacity to effectively manage scope change
- Experience across event registration platforms
- Capacity to travel interstate to work on national event projects
- Working knowledge of kosher cuisine
- **Unrestricted rights to work full time in Australia**
