**About the role**

This role assesses and reviews the business processes that underly and comprise BSC operations, ensuring they are established and operate with adequately designed and operationally effective internal controls. This role will work specifically in the People Services Area.

This is a full time permanent position based in North Ryde NSW.

The key objectives of the role are to:

- Contribute to the planning and scoping activities (for example: investigating and researching the review area; identifying information / access and key person requirements); drafting / co-developing work programme for areas of assigned work)
- Participate in scoping discussions and meetings with stakeholders, drawing from the discussion meeting points that can be incorporated into the written scope or revisited during the fieldwork.
- Conduct field work in accordance with work programme or instructions, and the Group Assurance Framework. This will include the following:

- Understand the existing business processes (“as is”) in narrative and/or flowchart; with corroboration through a walkthrough or test of one.
- Assess the “as is” process design for control activities that should mitigate identified risks.
- Test/ review the operating effectiveness of key controls
- Be able to perform root cause analysis

**What you’ll bring**
- Tertiary Qualification in Finance, Commerce Business Management, or a related discipline.
- 3-5+ years relevant Audit/ Financial Services experience preferably in a large complex organisation, fast paced and high-volume environment.
- Experience in working with senior leadership team level internally and with customers.
- Experience in successfully leading engagements working within Business Partnering model. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, e.g. Finance and Business Unit Operations.
