**Project Support Coordinator**

**The Role**

Are you passionate about project delivery in government to make a difference? We are seeking a dynamic and Project Support Coordinator to support a transformative project that will improve safety and quality for apprentices and trainees right across Victoria. In this pivotal role, you will support regulatory reform projects that will enhance regulatory powers and capabilities to ensure apprentices and trainees are equipped with the skills they need to thrive in today's competitive landscape.

As the coordinator of a dedicated project team, you will support project leads and team members to develop and implement innovative regulatory solutions that are not only comprehensive but also practical and effective. Your work will play a crucial role in supporting the project through the development of project documentation, coordination across contributing teams, monitoring progress and managing risks to achieve desired outcomes.

Accountabilities include:

- Develop and maintain processes, systems and accurate records and produce relevant management reports.
- Provide a range of office and administrative support services, including HR and finance activities, and the establishment and maintenance of an efficient filing system.
- Effectively manage and maintain project procedures and systems, identifying the need for and creating new systems and procedures as appropriate.
- Determine priorities, meet strict timelines and effectively balance competing demands with mínimal supervision, working independently or as a member of a team.

**The Team**

The position of Project Support Coordinator forms a part of the Strategic Skills Projects Branch within the Skills and Employment Group.

The Strategic Skills Projects Branch (SSP) responds to key skills and employment priorities and election commitments delivering key strategic cross cutting projects through agile project teams. Projects include, leading the government response and implementation of the recommendations from the Apprenticeships Taskforce and development of the business case and implementation plan for the creation of the SEC Centre of Training Excellence (SEC CoTE), paving the way for its establishment.
