We are seeking a Junior Administration Assistant to provide administration support to a busy professional accounting firm in Ipswich.
This role is an entry-level role and ideal for a school leaver or someone that is starting their administration career as training will be provided. Duties include:
- Reception (including greeting customers, answering telephones and taking accurate messages)
- Mail and banking
- Filing
- Data entry
- Providing administration assistance to other team members
Whilst administrative experience is not essential, you will ideally have had previous customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment, together with:
- Due to the administrative nature of this role, we are seeking good spelling skills and attention to detail (including sound English results) and accurate keyboarding skills (with the ability to touch type).
- A sound understanding of MS Word and MS Excel is important (ideally you will also have used MS Outlook), together with confidence learning and using new computer packages.
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with people at all levels in a variety of situations.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn, receive feedback and develop professionally.
- Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.
Availability to work from 8:30am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday) is also essential and as this is an entry-level position, Award rates will apply.
