We have a great opportunity for a
**Transport Technology and Equipment Manager** to join our team in Supply Chain. You will be accountable for ensuring Kmart & Target's transport technology systems are fit for purpose and meet service & value requirements. You will be responsible for systems training, record management and transportation analytics data. This role must ensure all transportation related equipment such as pallets are adequately controlled and accounted for.

**What you’ll be doing**

As the
**Transport Technology and Equipment Manager **you will:

- Deliver communications in a timely and effective manner across both written and oral communication
- Build appropriate rapport to establish constructive and trusting relationships, leveraging best possible outcomes for both Kmart and it's partner
- Demonstrate required knowledgeable about government legislation and regulatory advice
- Identify key stakeholder (both internal and external) and assess their relevance to the business, whilst maintaining formal and informal networks to exchange information and ideas
- Produces solutions to problems that can be implemented and facilitate problem solving by connecting relevant people and skills to important problems
- Accountable for managing transport technology projects, ensuring project milestones are delivered, business partners are engaged and relevant stakeholders are kept informed.

We are looking for someone who has a customer service focus and can work collaboratively through strong communication and time management skills to build strong stakeholder relationships.

**To be successful in this role you’ll have**:

- Previous experience in managing transport technology products
- 3-5 years experience in supplier management and procurement or in a similar field is desirable
- Effective in data management of carrier rates, lanes, equipment and terms
- Knowledge of the AUS & NZ freight and logistics heavy vehicle industry
