Mater are looking for a Change and Engagement Specialist to join our People and Learning Team This permanent, full-time role will report to the Director - People Projects and Employee Experience and can be based at any of our facilities throughout Queensland (Brisbane, Townsville, Rockhampton, Bundaberg or Mackay)

The People and Learning (P&L) function within Mater supports our 10,000 strong workforce across four Ministries Health, Research, Foundation and Education and our corporate support services and eleven sites. We are advancing an exciting transformation journey and the Change and Engagement Specialist will play an integral role in the People Projects and Employee Experience team.

**Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and salary packaging**

**What you’ll be doing**
- You will work collaboratively as a member of the People Projects and Employee Experience team to support the design, development and implementation of people-based projects by devising well-structure and planned change and engagement strategies
- You will support activities of the wider People team, through effective internal and external consistent communication and engagement. This will include coordination reporting against the Mater Strategy, preparing the communications for the different committees, working groups etc
- You will also provide support to Project Leads and other stakeholders, to understand, adopt and appropriately scale the change framework, identifying and using toolkit resources relevant to the initiative or project change.

**About you**

You will be degree or equivalent qualified in business or human resource management or human behaviour discipline. You will ideally also have a Project or Change Management qualification.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Demonstrated track record of managing and leading end-to-end change management in large, complex organisations.
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders across levels and build strong working relationships.
- Excellent writing skills and a flair for creative content development, tailored to audience needs.
- Ability to manage change and ambiguity and to learn quickly.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and activities in a fast-paced environment, as well as work as part of a strong and integrated team with strong collaboration and support.
- Experience in establishing change and communication governance is highly desirable. Experience as a HR Generalist and/or supporting HR projects is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a communications role, including internal communications, within a change environment** is **highly desirable.
