**Overview**:
The Regulatory Operations Group is responsible for Regulatory Operations, including Service Delivery and Enforcement & Practitioner Surveillance. This work operationalises AFSA’s strategy, delivering integrated end to end regulatory services that support clients through A and ensures compliance in line with AFSA’s approach to regulation to: People centric, Outcomes focused, Harms based, Intelligence led and Strengths Based.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
The Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA) is seeking skilled professionals to fill multiple (5) EL2 vacancies within **Regulatory Operations Group**:
**Director AFSA Service Center**
- Provide strategic leadership of the AFSA Service Centre & service support through, leading and managing the development of quality and risk management systems.
- Manage, coordinate, and regularly test the ASC Business Continuity Plan to ensure continuity of services.
- Support a culture of client-centric co-designed service improvement and service excellence.
- Build a highly skilled, engaged and adaptable workforce operating in a dynamic and professional working environment.

**Director Criminal Assets Management**
- Ensures the high-quality management and preservation of restrained assets and the timely realisation of forfeited assets.
- Work with the Australian Federal Police to control and preserve restrained assets and dispose of assets forfeited to the Commonwealth. The required work operates under the directive of Court Orders utilising powers under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
- Amplify CAM’s effectiveness to become visible in its role in seizing and disposing of forfeited assets to deter criminal activity.

**Director Personal Property Securities Program**
- Manage and enhance the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR), the system used extensively and relied upon by consumers, businesses, and financiers to manage financial risk.
- Lead strategic direction across a range of activities to promote PPSR usability and accessibility.
- Work with key internal and external stakeholders to maintain industry and community stakeholder engagement and confidence in the PPSR.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on activities across the PPSR which have significant impact on the outcome of PPSR and AFSA under the PPS Act.

**Director Estate Administration**
- Lead the office of the Official Trustee and the Official Receiver and exercise statutory coercive powers to minimise harms and maintain community confidence.
- Administer bankruptcies, personal insolvency agreements and debt agreements where a registered trustee or debt agreement administrator is unable to do so and/or the administration of the matter is in the public interest.
- Manage, coordinate, and regularly test the ASC Business Continuity Plan to ensure continuity of services.

**Director Practitioner Surveillance**
- Lead the operational management and delivery of the Practitioner Surveillance team, with regulatory oversight of registered bankruptcy trustees and debt agreement administrators.
- Ensure insolvency practitioners are regulated in line with AFSA’s strategic direction and regulatory strategy.
- Lead the practitioner inspection program and conduct practitioner reviews on behalf of the Inspector-General.
- Represent AFSA at stakeholder forums with external agencies, Commonwealth and State Government agencies.
