I represent a cable installation company based in Sydney’s South-West industrial suburbs that is seeking a Project Administrator to join their Australian-owned and operated company. For 20+ years, they have specialised in electrical and communications cable installations throughout Australia and recently New Zealand, servicing customers in the mining, rail, renewables, and infrastructure (and many more) sectors.

- **$60,000 - $80,000 + superannuation**

**About the Role**:
As the Project Administrator, you will report to the General Manager and work in a team of four which consists of a Finance Manager, a Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer and another Project Administrator. Your
**day-to-day responsibilities** will include booking technician inductions, submitting progress claims, submission of timesheets, maintenance of company licences, and tracking job progression.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and submit progress claims and invoices for projects
- Schedule equipment and vehicle maintenance
- Book technicians’ onsite inductions
- Continual review of employee records and licences
- Ensure company compliance is up to date
- Monitor and track active projects

**Skills and Experience**:

- **Intermediate to advanced Excel skills is an absolute must**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a fast-paced Data Entry/Administration type of role
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative and assist with continual improvement
- Experience in the building industry is highly desired but not essential
- Knowledge of Business Central is highly desired but not essential
